DescriptionAt the last meeting of the President and Council of the Royal Society it was resolved that the Royal Society of Edinburgh be added to the list of those institutions which may recommend cases for the consideration of the Scientific Relief Committee. The printed circular enclosed herewith [not attached], which is sent annually to the Presidents of Societies which are thus privileged, will explain the meaning of this resolution. If any further information is required to the purposes of the fund, or the mode of procedure, Foster shall be happy to furnish it.
