TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Frederick Ransome, 42 Melbourne Grove, East Dulwich
Date11 March 1893
DescriptionRix finds he misunderstood Ransome's recent note and took it to refer to expenses of packing and carriage, which are nil, but upon comparing notes with his clerk, Rix has found the account his clerk sent for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' in response to Ransome's previous note must have miscarried and Ransome has sent a cheque for £24 rather than the full amount of £27.

Rix encloses a statement of how the account stands at present [not attached], which shows a balance of £3 still due.
