TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Kelvin [William Thomson], Fellow of the Royal Society
Date21 March 1893
DescriptionRix supposes the enclosed letter [not attached] from Mr Joule, should come before the next Council, but he sends it on as Thomson may wish to reply to it personally.

Rix imagines there is no doubt about the acceptance of the bust, but there may be some doubt about the acceptance of the apparatus, as they have no very convenient place at the Society for keeping it. Rix imagines it would be better to say nothing either way until the Council has been consulted.
