TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], Secretary, Royal Society
Date18 November 1892
DescriptionDr [Michael] Foster wishes to know whether there is work for an interim Committee of Papers next Thursday, as there is no other committee meeting that day. Asks to know if he is to set up Professor Darwin's paper. There is no abstract with it and Darwin says he much prefers 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', but the paper is very bulky for this publication. If it is to be set up for Thursday week they ought to put it in hand at once.
