TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to W Bayley Marshall, Richmond Hill, Birmingham
Date26 April 1893
DescriptionProfessor [William Chandler] Roberts-Austen has sent on Marshall's note about some stereoscopic slides which Marshall proposes exhibiting at one of the Society's Soirées. Rix has no doubt the Soirée Committee would be pleased to have the exhibit at the June Soirée; as the Society had more things offered than could possibly be exhibited in the lantern in one evening at the May Soirée, it was decided partly on this ground and partly because the exhibit was considered more suitable for the June occasion, to defer asking Marshall until then.

The later Soirée will be on the 7th June and when the programme is arrange Marshall shall probably hear from the Society again.
