TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Jospeh Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 May 1893
DescriptionThe enclosed note came from André this morning [not attached]. André has had the figures in hand nearly a month and has not yet started upon them. Rix is very sorry for this delay but has done everything he could to make them move. Rix thinks the best plan now would be for André to send all the figures to Lockyer and he could then give his instructions. André has specimens of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' plates for size, headline et cetera, but has not yet given any definite estimate. Rix is writing to André to tell them to send Lockyer all the figures and as soon as they receive Lockyer's instructions, they should send as estimate.
