Date26 November 1892
DescriptionEncloses a letter from Admiralty received this morning which he has not yet shown to the Officers and asks for it to be returned in time for Council on 8 December [not attached]. Has received from Common the despatch from the Foreign Office with enclosures and has sent on to the Senior Secretary Common's letter accompanying the same. Should anything of great urgency arise, it might be dealt with on 30 November, but 8 December is the first Council at which business is usually dispatched, 30th being only a formal Council of a few minutes.
