DescriptionGives thanks for the copy of a biography of Dr. John Philip Seip as it contains information previously unknown. Gives the previously known details. That there are few documents left in possession of the Royal Society relating to Dr. Seip. He published a paper describing a cave in Plymouth in Latin (Transactions No.448, 1738), the original manuscript of which no longer survives. Explains that the surviving documents in relation to Dr. Seips, including the proposal to elect him are at the British Museum.
