TitleCopy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to [Charles Sutherland] Elton Esq., University Museum , Oxford
Date7 July 1931
DescriptionTitled 'Darwin Fund'. Explains that it is custom to pay the grant in installments at the end of the quarterly period, as is done across 20 Research Professors, Students and Fellows. States an exception will be made of the first installment, so it can be collected as soon as [Charles Sutherland] Elton starts his research in October [1931]. Reminds him that the grant of £250 for initial equipment can be collected, on request, after the research starts, in October. [See NLB/73/361]
