TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Messrs Eyre & Spottiswoode, Binding Department, Printer Street, E.C.
Date13 February 1894
Description'You seem to have made some great mistake in binding the "Nuovi Lincei Memorie". Our instruction was for "half-morocco", and you have bound it in whole morocco with gilt edges and ornate lines. You have neglected to return us the instructions which we sent, although you have a standing order to return everything. Unless you can produce instructions to bind in the manner which you have adopted, I am quite sure the Treasurer will not allow this item in your account. Please look up the missing instructions and send them to us at once'.
