TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Charles Scott Sherrington, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date7 March 1894
DescriptionRix sends thanks for the prompt return of the correct proof . He notes that they can insert zincos before publication, but would be glad to have the drawings as soon as possible, so as not to delay the publication of the Croonian Lecture. He asks if Sherrington will use his influence with Professor Cajal to return his manuscript, as they especially prize the manuscripts of the Croonian Lectures, and its loss would be a serious matter.

Rix notes in a postscript that R & J Beck of 68 Cornhill will send 10 microscopes with object glasses for Professor Cajal's use, and they will be delivered that afternoon.
