TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Arthur Gamgee, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date31 July 1893
DescriptionRix explains that they no longer sell the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' themselves, and that Messrs Clay & Sons have taken on their publication and sale, but they are bound by contract to supply Fellows of the Royal Society with one copy each at the reduced price. If Gamgee has not had any they could be at this price. Rix notes that nine volumes have been published.

He also mentions that Clay & Sons offer sets of volumes at a greatly reduced price, with volumes 1-8 offered at five pounds, 11 shillings and six pence to the public, but they do not state how much to Fellows.

Rix sends 'best greetings' and wishes Gamgee success with his book.
