Description | White returns five of Professor Lockyer's plate proofs to be revised with lettering, and notes that the author has now finished with them. He asks that his indications are followed, and they supply a set with the lettering inserted accordingly, having enclosed a sample plate to demonstrate the style required.
He also asks that they take care about the level of the lettering. White states that he has marked the plates with pencil lines at the top and bottom of each plate, beyond which it will be cut off in the binding. The current numbers are also noted as only being temporary, with the proper numbers to be supplied before they go to press. |
