TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to F B Behr, 10 Drapers Gardens, E.C.
Date20 September 1893
DescriptionRix states that Behr's pamphlet arrived during his absence from England, and that he is now able to respond to his letter of 31 August. He explains that the Royal Society's meetings are for the discussion of manuscripts concerning recent research, so his work's previous publication disqualifies it from discussion, as does the fact that it was not communicated by a Fellow.

Behr's manuscript will, however, be preserved in the Society's library for perusal or reference purposes.
