Description | Rix, responding to their memorandum of 27 September, he seeks clarification of if they mean that the Societa di Scienze Naturali of Palermo has refused the parcel, in which case it should be returned to the Royal Society at their expense, and the Societa di Scienze Naturali will be struck off their free list. If, however, they mean that Amenta, to whom it was sent, has refused the parcel, Dulau should inform him that it covers books for the Societa di Scienze Naturali and he can recover the expense from them.
With regard to the other parcel, he encloses a letter to Dulau, 5 December 1892, from the Societa Reale, in which they instruct the Royal Society to address the parcel to the Biblioteca Nazionale, and that by communicating wth the library or the Society, they can get it delivered. |
