TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, care of Dr Scott, Rombalts House, Ilkley
Date5 July 1893
DescriptionRix forgot to inform Foster that they have resolved the difficulty about Cash and Dunstan's paper, as by good fortune Dr Hill's two papers and Mr Newton's paper combined make up exactly the number of pages needed to bring B [of 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society] up level with A. So, he has put these two next, and then included Cash and Dunstan's paper in the B series without having to change the paging.

Rix terms the coincidence 'a sort of miracle' and explains that Foster no longer needs to write to Dr Dunstan as intended.
