Date | 4 July 1893 |
Description | Foster explains that, in line with the directions of the President and Council of the Royal Society, formal letters of thanks have been sent to the Admiralty, including a request for recognition of the efforts of the officers and crews of the vessels; to the Foreign Office; and through the Foreign Office to the Governments of France and Brazil, the Governor of Senegal, and the administrator at Foundiougne.
