TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Arthur Keen, 4 Raymond Buildings, W.C.
Date25 October 1893
DescriptionRix has been asked by the Officers of the Royal Society to request a more exact statement of the cost of alterations, and provides the statement as it currently stands. He requests that for some items where an estimate was given, an exact figure now be provided, and for others, that a nearer estimate be provided.

He states that he should have asked for details some days ago, as it will be for use in the next day's Council, and so requests that, if possible, they supply the information by 1 pm the next day. If not, Rix will bring the matter before the following week's Council, and will need to receive details by 1 November.
