TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Theodore T Groom
Date15 November 1893
DescriptionRix asks if he could approve the plate containing figures 40-59 and return it to the Royal Society. He explains that the Cambridge Engraving Company has informed them that these figures are on the same stone as a plate belonging to a paper by Dr Sherington, which is waiting to be printed off, but that they cannot do this without also printing Groom's at the same time.

If he is able to pass the figures mentioned, this would avoid further delay. Rix also notes that his proofs were sent to him on 23 October. To be safe, they are also sending this letter to Groom's address in Hereford, which they have just received from Mr Sedgwick.
