Dr. Hugo Muller recommends that the top of the experimental table should be prepared with paraffin, so as to render it proof against acid; the paraffin to be laid on in fine shavings and melted into the wood by means of hot irons. Dr [Michael] Foster wishes me to consult you before this is put in hand. It will be will be quite sufficient to write "No" or "Yes" on this letter and return it to me, which kindly do at once.
