TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr James Samuel Risien Russell
Date10 July 1893
DescriptionRix enquiries about Russell's paper 'On some circumstances under which the normal state of the Knee-jerk is altered' which is to appear in the next 'Proceedings of the Royal Society', having noticed that it was passed by the Committee of papers 'conditionally'. He assumes that the conditions were communicated to Russell and complied with, but he finds no letter to Russell in their letter-book. Rix speculates that the conditions were communicated orally, or by Lord Rayleigh from his Terling address, but asks that Russell write to confirm that they were fulfilled, and the paper is ready for publication.
