TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to P Edward Dove, Royal Historical Society, 20 Hanover Square, W.
Date12 December 1893
Description'Dear Mr Dove,
I have sent you this morning by Parcels Delivery Company a large parcel of stationary belonging to the Royal Historical Society, and inside you will find a small parcel containing personal matters of your own. You left here a despatch box and a cash box, belonging, I presume, to the Transit of Venus Commission. If that conjecture is correct, I suppose the keys of them (which are doubtless in your possession) should be handed to our Treasurer?
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
