TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr David Bierens de Haan, Universitat, Leiden, Holland
Date1 January 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
The transcript of Letter No. 3899, has been in hand for some time, and will be sent you in the course of a day or two. It has been troublesome work owing to the ink being very faded, as well as the writing and spelling being of course very antiquated. I am afraid it will cost you about £1, as I was obliged to employ a first rate copyist.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
