TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], [Royal Society]
Date2 January 1894
DescriptionRix records that Mr Gannon's paper, read on December 7th, has not yet been passed by the Committee of Papers. He notes that they are waiting to make into pages the papers read at that meeting, and while they would ordinarily publish the abstract and let the full paper be published in a subsequent number, there is a difficulty in this case as Dr Schuster's paper depends upon Gannon's and so should be published alongside it.

He asks whether they are too publish Garrison's abstract and Schuster's paper; just Gannon's abstract, deferring Schuster's paper for publication with Garrison's; or, defer both papers until Garrison's full paper has been passed.
