TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dukinfield Henry Scott, Jodrell Laboratory, Royal Gardens, Kew
Date4 January 1894
DescriptionRix states that, as his telegram of yesterday indicated, the manuscript arrived safely. Scott's letter slipped between the leaves of another manusript, and that was the reason why they did not carry out his request to advise him of receipt. They sent the usual circular to Professor Williamson instead. The paper has already been referred, and so no time has been lost.

Rix asks for the abstract as soon as he can. He also asks if Scott is to illustrate or demonstrate at the meeting.
