TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to the Secretary, Royal Astronomical Society
Date20 January 1894
DescriptionFoster has been directed by the President and Council of the Royal Society to inquire whether the Royal Astronomical Society is preparing to make any arrangements for observation of the total eclipse of 1896. They believe it desirable to make such plans at an early date, and wish to know whether they would be interested in taking joint action with the Royal Society, as was the case the previous year.
