Description'Dear Sir,
I am instructed to inform you that the Catalogue Committee have had under consideration the plan recommended by you for a Subject-Index to the Royal Society's Catalogue of Scientific Memoirs. Your specimen has been of considerable use to them in their discussions, and it was unanimously resolved at their last meeting "That the thanks of the Committee be returned to Mr Howard Collins for the trouble which he has taken in preparing the specimen of an Alphabetical Index to the Catalogue of Scientific Memoirs".
