TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], 4 Carlton Gardens
Date2 February 1894
Description'My Lord,
Dr Foster says that No 25 Ferrier & Turner [David Ferrier and William Aldren Turner] and No31 Dr Risien Russell ought both to go to the same referee, & as Mr Langley says that he cannot undertake two papers, Dr Foster thinks they should go to Prof Schafer [Professor Edward Albert Schafer] instead. I am to ask if your Lordship approves.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
