TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Alfred Barnard Basset, Fellow of the Royal Society, 322 Oxford Street, W.
Date5 February 1894
DescriptionRix responds to Basset's letter to the Secretaries of the Royal Society, in which he complained of not being able to obtain a proof of a paper which was to have been read in the afternoon. He explains that the printing of the paper had been purposely delayed in the hope of obtaining the author's corrections, but as a result of Basset's letter the question is being considered, and the Officers aim to devise a measure to prevent the recurrence of such difficulties in the future.
