DescriptionRix sends, at the directions of the Royal Society's Treasurer, John Evans, the account of the Government Grant of £4,000 for the advancement of science to 31 March 184, and asks that they make payment to the Society's bankers, Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, of 2000 pounds, as their share of the grant of 4,000 made by Parliament for the promotion of Scientific Research.

Includes the account referred to in the letter.
