TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Chree, Kew Observatory, Richmond, Surrey
Date12 April 1894
Description'Dear Mr Chree,
In answer to your letter (20c/K2), the procedure is exactly as you surmise. The final clean proof signed by the Chairman is submitted to our Council , who order it for printing in the "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society']. We give Harrisons the order, so that you have done your part in sending in the signed proof. The clause on page 12 meets the case about the audit. The Report will be passed at next week's Council.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
