TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Albert Bruce Joy, The Studio, Beaumonth Road, West Kensington, W.
Date9 March 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
In a letter from Mrs Bruce Joy dated December 11, 1890, we were informed that you were in America, and that the copy of the Davy Medal, which was made I believe by your desire and presented to you by the Royal Society, was to be kept here until your return, when it would be sent for. Since then we have heard nothing about it. The Medal is still in our possession and is at your disposal.
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
