TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Frederick Orpen Bower, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 April 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
I only wish the obstacle in the way of the completion of your plates were such as you or I could remove. I have written again and again to the Cambridge Engraving Co., and have heard twice from them quite recently. They assure me now that the plates are close upon completion. They ought to have been completed more than a month ago. I am afraid there is nothing for it but patience, which I hope will not have to be of very long duration now.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
