TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Henry Wilde, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 April 1894
DescriptionRix sends thanks for the return of the schedules [for the Soirée], one of which they have put into type, and also a part of the other. However, he notes that they have strict orders this year to keep within the rule with regard to printing, as their funds are short, so they are asking exhibitors who submit long descriptions to print leaflets on their own behalf if they wish, while the Royal Society will print the authorised twelve lines.

In Wilde's case, Rix states that they are printing down to the word "annually", and he returns the remainder of the manuscript, in case he wishes to print a leaflet himself.
