TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Charles Chree, Secretary of the Incorporated Kew Committee, Kew Observatory, Richmond, Surrey
Date30 April 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
In answer to yours of the 25th, I think there can be no harm in conducting the re-audit for the past year at the Observatory instead of sending the vouchers here. I imagine the chief motive of the Treasurer in suggesting the latter course was to save Mr. Keen the journey, as the fee in the Treasurer's opinion is a very moderate one; but, if Mr. Keen has already expressed his willingness to come, that must be sufficient.
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
