TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the General Secretary, K Akademie der Wissenschaften, Vienna
Date1 May 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
We are obliged to you for the books which you have in continuation of former favours, recently presented to this Library. I am instructed, however, to inform you that owing to the great pressure upon our limited space, & to the fact that the library is almost exclusively concerned with Mathematical and Natural Science, it is decided not to add to the literary and philosophical side. The Philos.-historische Class [Philosophisch-Historische Klasse] Denkschriften & Sitzungsberichte may therefore be discontinued for the future.
I am, Dear Sir, yours faithfully
Herbert Rix
Asst. Secy R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
