TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Harry Marshall Ward, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 May 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
Will you tell me whether it is absolutely necessary that the curves illustrating your Report should all be reduced to the same scale? It will be impossible to do this and get them into the page. If they might be of different scales they could all be done as page cuts. The latter plan would have the advantage of clearness, as the small ones instead of becoming smaller still, might be made larger, which is very desirable on account of the small angles and the amount of lettering.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
