TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Clay & Sons, Ave Maria Lane
Date1 June 1894
DescriptionRix states that they will send the labels for the presentation volumes of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' in a couple of days. He states that Messrs Grevel of King Street, Covent Garden, will receive parcels for the University Library, Strasburg.

Rix also lists the names of the gentlemen who have been added to the Library Committee, and are therefore entitled to a presentation copy, namely J Lister, Professor Joseph Norman Lockyer, L Mond, Professor Roberts-Austen, A Sedgwick and Professor Thorpe; he further asks that the names of former committee members be removed - Sir Archibald Geikie, Professor Lankester and Professor Rucker. He notes that the packet of labels will reflect these changes.
