TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date10 July 1894
DescriptionRix encloses Professor Arthur Rucker's letter declining the Gottingen invitation, along with the Gottingen letter and related documents. He reports that Mr Keltjie, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Geographical Society, writes that he supposes that they will let him know the results of the Royal Society Council's deliberations on their Antarctic Report, and Rix asks if it is yet time to write to them.

He further states that they will not be able to help Foster with regard to applications for the Challenger Report, as they never had any stock of the volumes, and the small number of applicants they've had have always been referred to the Treasury, though they have no record of their names.
