TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to H N Vernon, Merton College, Oxford
Date10 March 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
You are too late this year for an assignment from the Government Grant administered by the Royal Society. February 28th was the last day for receiving applications. I will lay your letter before the Secretaries, however, for it is possible since the sum is small that they may be able to make a grant from our own Donation Fund; for this purpose the letter you have already sent will be sufficient.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
