DescriptionRix, in response to the Librarian's letter of 13 March which the Library Committee have only just had the opportunity of considering, is able to inform him that the parts missing from their series of 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', 1877-1888 will be granted. In future, their library will, along with other institutions, receive the 'Transactions' by post, which will remove the risk of forfeiture by non-application.
