DescriptionCongratulates Loewi on receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Graz; apologises for his son Dietrich's role in Loewi's arrest but that he was only following orders. Says that his younger sons had unfortunately 'fallen for the Nazi party propaganda,' and never returned from the war. Stresses that he himself was not a Party member. Talks about his health, his wife's arthritis and his daughter's life, says that he cannot live on his pension and complains that they have no housekeeper. Is busy with work around the house and supposes that this keeps him healthy.
