Description | States he saw the Prime Minister about ten days ago and he was extremely friendly and sympathetic to consider the point of view which Blackett was putting forward. He asked Blackett to write something for him and ended up by saying he wished Blackett had come to him earlier. He encloses a copy of what Blackett had sent to him. It was necessarily very hurriedly done but should, Blackett thinks, serve as a basis for further discussion. The Prime Minister said he would arrange for a discussion with some of his colleagues.
