Blackett's review of CP Snow's Godkin Lectures on 'Science and Government' (<i>Scientific American</i>, April 1961) which did musch to precipitate the controversy in the correspondence with RV Jones and others. A copy of the review is included. See J.44

'Steps toward Disarmament' (a shorter version of 'The Real Road to Disarmament', in 'New Statesman', 1962) published in 'Scientific American', April 1962. See F.68, F.69.

Requests for Blackett to write articles on rock magnetism for 'Scientific American', 1963.

Possible article on detection of underground explosions (with letters from Sir Edward Bullard, JD Cockcroft), 1965.

Publication of Blackett's 1961 and 1962 articles as a separate book 'Science, Conflict and Society', 1969.
