Description | Plate 21, figures 8-10 showing three views of fossilised teeth from a hippopotamus showing details of wear discovered at Kirkdale Cave, Yorkshire [England]. Figure 10 is pasted onto a main sheet for figures 8-9. The work is inscribed with publication and plate details and with the illustrators' names bottom left: 'M. Morland, W. Clift & T. Webster del.' Royal Society stamp verso. Watermarked on pasted sheet '[J] Whatm[an] [Tu]rkey Mil[ls]'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
