Description | Plate 19, figures 55-62 and 254 showing blood corpuscles from a frog [Rana temporaria], an oyster [Ostrea edulis; European flat oyster], a turtle, an ox [Bos taurus; cattle], a lobster [Cancer marinus; Homarus gammarus], and a leech [Hirudo medicinalis, European medicinal leech]. Figure 254, labelled 'Embryology', shows the formation of a thin membrane on a rabbit ovum. Inscribed with title, publication, and plate details.
