Title | Plate, woman posed for portrait facing right and left by unknown artist |
Date | [1824] |
Description | Ink drawing of a woman posed for a portrait. A flap showing the woman facing right is overlaid on a portrait of the same woman facing left. A window is cut out around the eyes of the woman on the flap to reveal the eyes of the portrait underneath, illustrating that the eyes appear the same regardless of the direction the woman faces.
