DescriptionUnbound manuscript versions of papers published by the Royal Society in volume 101 of 'Philosophical Transactions' in 1811. Also includes a manuscript for William Hyde Wollaston's Croonian Lecture, published in the 1810 volume of Philosophical Transactions.

Includes some original illustrations and figures in various media (drawings, watercolours) in support of the papers.

Missing from this volume are the manuscripts for the following papers published in the 1811 volume of Philosophical Transactions:
'The Bakerian Lecture. On some of the combinations of oxymuriatic gas and oxygene, and on the chemical relations of these principles, to inflammable bodies' by Humphry Davy (found in PT/4);
'An account of an appendix to the small intestines of birds' by James Macartney.
