DescriptionPlate 20 showing a study of the mummy's pelvis, inscribed with the lengths of various sections of the pelvis. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in ink in bottom left corner, 'Henry-Perry'. Before this 'Drawn by' is struck out and following this, 'Decr 1821' is struck out and replaced with 'delt.' written in pencil. A pencil inscription in the bottom right reads 'Jas [James] Basire sculpt.' Royal Society stamp verso.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'An essay on Egyptian mummies; with observations on the art of embalming among the ancient Egyptians' by Augustus Bozzi Granville.

Read to the Royal Society on 14 April 1825.
