Inscribed with publication and plate details. Ink inscription verso reads 'The engraver will put a border round the plate, of the usual size - and trace very fine straight lines for the blue lines within the figure - extending throughout the height of the plate'. Not signed. Watermarked 'T Edmonds 1823'. Royal Society stamp verso. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
